Why ZIC?
ZIC is high quality lubrication product made of the VHVI (Very High Viscosity Index) base oil developed independently by SK lubricants for the first time in Korea in 1995. The ZIC product owes its exceptional engine protection, longer oil change cycle and better fuel economy to the VHVI technology.
Since released in October, 1995, ZIC sold 1 million cans in six month and 10 million in two years. All told, ZIC has sold 658 million cans (4L can) as of 2009. It means that every six out of ten passenger vehicles (i.e. sedans) sold in Korea have used ZIC in their annual oil changes.
Licenses
Including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche & BMW – ZIC has approvals from prestigious automotive OEMs. It is also supplied to leading car manufacturers such as General Motors, Renault-Nissan, Hyundai-Kia motors as first build lubricants for various applications.
